Our Company

TraffGo GmbH was founded in july 2001 as a spin-off from the work group Physics of Transport and Traffic. The group belongs to the University Duisburg-Essen and all founders were formal members of it. Thus TraffGos "seed capital" mainly consisted of the know-how gained by the scientific past of the founders.

In March 2005, TraffGo was restructured into two new companies: TraffGo Road GmbH (simulation of road traffic) and TraffGo HT GmbH (simulation of pedestrian traffic, inland navigation and loading processes of ferries).
