November 25./26. 2009 - PedGo Guardian at the INSTINCT Event
For the INSTINCT event in London, companies and universities dealing with security in an innovative way were invited by the British Home Office. As one of 26 selected exhibitors, we presented PedGos newest development, the Guardian Mode.
Connected to an arbitrary detection system (e.g. Crowd Vision or Vitracom), PedGo continuously adapts its crowd numbers and thus analyses the current evacuability of an event or a highly frequented building. We are proud, that PedGo is the first program world wide offering such an online accessment and analysis functionality.
November 4./5. 2009 - Presentation during the "Brandveiligheid in de zorg"
On the 4th and 5th November, our partner De Vlieg Techniek will present the software PedGo on the exhibition Brandveiligheid in de zorg.
August 25th 2009 - Security Point Article
The newest edition of the German magazine Security Point (4-2009) adresses the safety of ships and harbours. Our article (page 4) illustrates the development of safety guidelines in the maritime industry.

August, 24th 2009 - New Releases
New releases of the PedGo/AENEAS Editor and Simulation are now available. The new versions (2.5) are certified by the German Maritime Administration (See BG) and the certificate is available for downloading.
Major changes have been logpoints to log traffic in arbitrary rooms, improved group behaviour, licensing via USB dongle and the expansion of exit settings which allows for highly flexible exit modelling. All details and the newest versions can be found in the customer section.

May, 18th 2009 - HERMES Experiments
Within the research project Hermes several experiments concerning person flows were carried out in the LTU Arena and the Messe Düsseldorf. A video of the WDR to the experiments in the Messe Düsseldorf can be found

January, 15th 2009 - HERMES Workshop
For the first workshop of the HERMES research project, all participants met at LTU-Arena. Next to organizational things, our workgroup layed the foundations for optimizing PedGos algorithms and parallelising them. We thank all participants for the constructive and open discussions and especially LTU-Arena for excellent insights into their daily work.
